Opening Day at the Vill
This past Saturday was opening day in Teton Village, and everyone came out to celebrate a new winter season of sliding around on the snow (and work off the excesses of Turkey Day). Early morning clouds and a few lonely snowflakes gave way to bluebird skies, allowing for unimpeded viewing of the local wildlife. One deer was spotted grazing under the chairlift around mid-day, though it appeared to still be wearing last year’s outerwear. On-hill cougars were allegedly spotted but managed to elude the camera, so these shots will have to do for now:
