JH 4 VT – Benefit Party on Thursday Sept 22
I’ve often marveled at the extent to which skiers and riders from the VT dominate the Jackson Hole scene in the winter. More importantly, the waters of Lake Champlain must be the fount of friendliness because this crew – I lovingly refer to them as the UVM Militia- has always impressed me as possessing intelligence, class and consideration for others to match their often notable skills on the snow. With the damage inflicted upon Vermont and its people by Hurricane Irene, it is therefore no surprise that J-Holers with VT roots are coming together to lend a hand.
If you are in Jackson this Thursday night, stop by Cutty’s starting at 5:30pm to throw down for a great cause. Get all the beta at JH4VT.com. Cutty’s will be offering some kind drink specials and there will be a raffle with great prizes, from VT Maple Syrup, to Jackson Hole lift tickets, to a new Trew jacket.
Even better, the event organizers, ‘Friends of the 802′, have rallied fave local bands, The Miller Sisters and The Random Canyon Growlers, to headline the event. We hope to see you there, but if you can’t make it, you can easily DONATE ONLINE.
