Early February in the Tetons – A Photo Superpost
With a near average base depth and signs of improving stability, February has seen us putting down the crack pipes and grudgingly tuning out the GOP primary fight to venture into the higher reaches of Grand Teton National Park. A new Ungrounded edit will be dropping shortly, but in the meantime, here is a big ole photo gallery from the past week. Thanks to Jeff Brines/EarlyUps, Chris Dickey/ ThoughtShaker and Luke Walker for the rad shots.

Great work guys! Looks like Mr. Jay House is getting after it- steep!
Way to get after it! How’s the hardboot setup treating you? Pretty sweet to have the advantages of a plastic boot and Vibram sole for step kicking in firm snow, solidly attached crampons and the uphill advantage of side hill skinning without much terror! How is the ride down with the hards treating you?
Loving it!! Took a good two months to really dial in but so worth it. I feel like I can actually shred for the most part with just a few mods on Scarpa F3s and the up is $$. The one thing that sucks is extended heel side traverses where I really miss the highback support. That feeling of weakness makes me somewhat afraid of clutch heel turns on firm/steep stuff. Maybe that means I’ll just turn less when/if those situations arise. Check and balances, but overall great. -JS
Yeah, im loving my hard boot set up too….fast and light:) -Michelle
